Works of Art
We will be auctioning selected works of art – oil paintings, watercolours, acrylics, photographs, sculpture and mixed media.
Unlike most charity art auctions we are not simply asking artists to donate works, we are appealing to all members of the community to contribute pictures they own: individuals, companies and organizations.
If you are interested in donating a work or receiving more information please contact Stephen Walton on 07770 987163 or

Further information
The works selected for auction will be valued, guide prices drawn up and included in a catalogue with an acknowledgement of the donor if appropriate.
Some works will have reserves on them to protect their value and maximise profits for the Hospice. In the event of works not reaching the reserves they will be placed in selected sales at a later date.
There will be a number of lots reserved for works created by young people of school age and those attending college.
In the event of receiving too many donated works we will select those we think would make an attractive group for auction. The remaining works will then be offered for sale, in consultation with the donor, in the most appropriate forum including selling them in the Hospice shops.
St Nicholas Hospice Care
Founded in 1984, St Nicholas Hospice Care provides specialist care and comfort to terminally ill patients throughout West Suffolk and Thetford. Their aim is to help people with life threatening illnesses and their families and carers improve their quality of life.
The Community Team cares for an increasing number of patients and their families who seek palliative care and support outside the St Nicholas Hospice, at home, in care homes or wherever they may be.
At the centre of this team are the clinical nurse specialists – Community Hospice Nurses. They are backed up by medical and family support, complementary therapy, 1029384756chaplaincy and rehabilitation staff from the Hospice.
